About Us
Alan has a core nucleus of drivers who have remained with him for an extended period of time. This is down to his hands-on approach, driver knowledge and appreciation of the tasks undertaken daily by his employees. He is supported in the company by a team of close family and trusted employees.
With a strategic business plan that incorporates the delivery of goods in the UK, Europe, and beyond, Alan has developed the company to include the storage and distribution of varied goods.
The four storage and distribution centres located throughout Northern Ireland provide secure and accessible facilities suitable for all types of customers.
Our environmental misson
Carmichael Logistics continue to reduce its carbon footprint on a daily basis through careful planning and the acquisition of a modern vehicle fleet. Providing fuel efficiency and low maintenance schedules ensures our customers get the best value for money whilst reducing unnecessary emissions. Drivers are monitored via our telematics systems which capture data and enable us to encourage a reduction in idle times and increase mpg by considerate and fuel-efficient driving techniques. Our fridges are modern, quiet running and fuel-efficient with split door capability to decrease unnecessary fuel consumption and running times thus facilitating a reduction in noise pollution.
Forklift trucks in our warehouses are biofuel-powered which greatly assists our green policy implementation programme. These vehicles are proven to reduce carbon dioxide (CO²) and are included in the Carmichael Logistics eco policy as we expand our warehouse and storage capacity.
